Naikaku - Shell (2006)

Hay una suerte de estereotipo occidental sobre lo extravagantes y alocados que son los orientales, los japoneses más precisamente. Y tal vez, bajo esa idea es que se desarrolla el trabajo de Naikaku, o al menos, bajo una originalidad inmensa.

En "Shell" se presentan constante una dicotomía en armonía entre la dulzura y la agresividad, que muy bien están representadas por la flauta y la guitarra eléctrica. Pero así como tales instrumentos interpretan esta representación, también, obviamente, lo hace la música en sí. De variación en variación, y dejando bien en claro lo de Rock Progresivo, la banda nos transporta por pasajes ambientales y serenos interrumpidos súbitamente por una explosión de guitarra, bajo y batería que acaricia el Metal Progresivo.
Impresionante trabajo de estos japoneses que arrasa con cualquier gusto.
